Workplace Health Education Sessions
Interactive presentations on wellness strategies for employees to promote the health, safety and well-being of all workers and the sustainability of the workplace.
According to the World Health Organization, “a healthy workplace is one in which workers and managers collaborate to use a continual improvement process to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of all workers and the sustainability of the workplace.” Therefore, this program proposes the implementation of presentations to educate workers about complementary and integrated approaches designed to support healthy behavior and to improve health outcomes. The Workplace Wellness Program was developed and directed by Antonio Carrico, a Traditional Naturopath and Melissa Carrico, a Certified Health Coach.

Wellness Presentation 1: Improving My Natural Immunity
This educational presentation will cover the general overview of our natural immune system and ways to assist our bodies to effectively improve and maintain healthy balance through simple self-well-being approaches.
Wellness Presentation 2: Enhancing Body Metabolism
Frequently, metabolism is misunderstood by being associated with two interconnected approaches which are physical exercise, and food intake. On the other hand, this presentation will provide a broader overview on how total body metabolism works and natural ways to improve its physiological mechanism.
Wellness Presentation 3: We Are What We Eat
The human body relies on reliable sources of nutrients to effectively perform all daily activities along with achieving and maintaining good health. Anyone attending this presentation will learn about researched based information on food ingredients that may be avoided and how to make healthy food choices. Healthy food choices can facilitate the body’s absorption and utilization of important nutrients that could improve overall energy and mental health balance.
Wellness Presentation 4: Ideal Workout Plan
Adapt physical activities to you and not you to the physical exercises. Exercise can affect our physical, psychological, and social health. Understanding the interaction of specific exercises with our bodies would allow us to choose and enjoy physical activities that helps on the promotion and maintenance of well-being.
Wellness Presentation 5: Stress Away
Complementary and integrated activities can become a powerful component to cope with stressful elements to which we are constantly exposed. Concepts and effects of stress will be addressed along with practices of activities that can assist with the management of overall stress. Proper stress management can help with physical, social, and mental health balance..
